Product description

The miniseries of gold coins of the Czech Mint The Fairy Tales of Moss and Fern, which is intended for small and big numismatics, represents its second issue. Its hero is Vochomůrka.

Křemílek and Vochomůrka, two forest men who live together in a stump cottage, have been enjoying audiences for 50 years. But do you know which of them is which? Vochomurka is the smaller, more plump, more naive and maybe a little more timid elf. Their adventure first appeared in the book of Václav Čtvrtek and was introduced in the television bedtime story in 1968. Cute fairy-tale friends were animated and directed by artist Zdeněk Smetana, who is also known as the author of Rákosníček, Little Witch, Štaflík and Špagetka.

The fairytale coin was traditionally made by talented medal maker Irena Hradecká, DiS. On the reverse side there is Vochomurka sitting on the leaf pillow and looking at the flying butterfly with artless expression. The commemorative coins of the Czech Mint are based on a license issued by a foreign issuer, which is the Pacific island of Niue, and their obverse side carries the necessary attributes, which are the profile and name of the emperor Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2018 and the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD).

If you have a coin with Křemílek in your collection, you've also got a collector's album, where Vochomůrka has his place. A three-part miniseries closes their house, which is a stump cottage.
