The Czech Mint in cooperation with the Czech National Bank regularly issues a complete set of czech circulation coins which are completed with a commemorative token and stored in elegant packaging with the motif of the Czech Republic. The year 2018, when the Czech Republic celebrates its 25th anniversary, is no exception.

You come into contact with metal tender almost every day, but have you ever thought about how its relief really looks like? The 1 CZK coin bears the St. Wenceslas crown, the 2 CZK coin bears a button, which is a decorative jewel from the Great Moravian Empires time. Coins with higher nominal values ​​belong to the architecture of the Czech Republic. The 5 CZK coins commemorate the legendary Charles Bridge. The 10 CZK coin belongs to Brno's Petrov, the famous panorama of the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. The 20 CZK coin was dedicated to the monument on Wenceslas Square in Prague with the majestic statue of St. Wenceslas. The 50 CZK coin, which by the way, was proclaimed the most beautiful circulating coin in the world in 1993, bears the  Charles Bridge, the National Theater, St. Nicholas Church and the Prague Castle with St. Vitus, which are unique buildings characteristic for our capital city.

This commemorative token made in authentic way by the talented medal maker Maria Filova, DiS. in 2018 is together with six circulation coins an integral part of each set. The main motif of the reverse side is the Czech flag, while the individual colors are expressed in heraldic shade. The silver (white) surface is empty, the blue is hatched horizontally and red vertically. The dominant motif of the obverse side is the words of the national anthem Kde domov můj.
