Czech Lion 2019

Coins called "bullion coins" are made of precious metal and serve primarily as an investment or a means of value preservation. Such are the "Czech Lions" - the Czech Mint's own investment coins which were issued with a foreign license. They are the first coins of their kind minted in the Czech Republic. Moreover in the product line there is a favorite version embossed of one troy ounce of pure silver.

Silver is an undervalued investment tool. A number of conservative investors who prefer it to gold is growing. Silver, besides the medium to long-term potential for revaluation, offers the unique benefits of industrial metal. Keen price of silver coins (unlike commemorative coins) does not primarily include collectible, artistic or historical value. Their "premium", which means the difference between the price of precious metal on the stock market and the selling price of the coin, corresponds to this fact. Nevertheless, the Czech lions are also distinguished by elaborated patriotic aesthetics.

The motif of the reverse side of the investment coin was inspired by the traditional symbols of the Czech Republic. These are the two-tailed lion, the St. Wenceslas crown and the flaming Saint Wenceslas Eagle that contribute to the easy identification of the "Czech Lions" on the domestic and world markets. The obverse side of the coin bears the linden branch together with the attributes of the island of Niue, which provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to coin its own coins. The attributes are the profile and the name of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2019, together with the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD). A sophisticated design of the coin was created by the leading medal maker Jaroslav Bejvl. However, he left us forever at the age of 75 even before he finished his work. For that reason the young talent Asamat Baltaev, DiS. continues processing this coin.

One troy ounce of silver is one of the world's most popular investment choices.
