In 2018 the Czech National Bank dedicated the first silver 200 CZK coin embossed in the quality standard to Klaudyans map, which is the oldest printed map of Bohemia. Almost 500 years have passed since its release.

Mlada Boleslav scholar Mikuláš Klaudyan was a successful pharmacist, but he wanted something more in his life. He was a devoted supporter of the Unity of the Brethren, and was looking for a way to spread his thoughts in a mass way. He discovered this way in the printing industry, and a cartographic aid that now carries his name has become his most important work. Klaudyan's map served pilgrims traveling to Rome. In order not to turn it on the road, it is oriented towards the south. It shows Bohemia and Kladsko, well-divided settlements, water, mountains, forests and roads marked with milestones. However, this is not a common map. The richly decorated print also contains a number of lessons leading to moral life and illustrations that mirror the conditions prevailing in the country in the 16th century. For example, the central graphics of a wagon fitted with agitated passengers in which it is driven in both directions of travel, most likely symbolizes the country's religious division and its turbulent political climate.

One of the most frequently performed Czech medal makers the academic sculptor Zbynek Fojtu won the CNB Art Competition. The expert committee gave its design proposal the first prize for "excellent rendering of the details on the obverse side of the map and for a concise rendering on its reverse side." The reverse side of the coin carries the map itself, on which our territory is bounded by impenetrable forests supplemented by an inscription KLAUDYAN MAP and the annual years 1518 and 2018. On the obverse side, there is an allegorical scene of a rift car complemented by periodical heraldic symbols, the nominal value of 200 CZK and a copy of the CZECH REPUBLIC.
