Product description

Silver often stands in the shadow of gold, but unjustly so. Savvy investors understand its indisputable advantages and they give it a special place in their portfolios. The bank and mints around the world therefore issue silver, purely investment coins. We introduce our own investment coins of the Czech Mint in a series entitled the Czech Lion.

The state symbols reflect the character of the state and the nature of its nation. Such attributes also includes the Czech ones. Although many people will be attempting to convince you the contrary, we have a history of which we can be truly proud. The Czechs have always been a strong nation able to stand by its own opinion - their symbol was therefore the noble flame eagle. Later they received the sign of the powerful double-tailed lion for their courage. They were pious and honored their ancestors, especially St. Wenceslas, who became their patron, and Charles IV., which we call the Father of the Nation. They are known for big ideas and exceptional skill, which are still admired by the whole world - for example in the form of the crown jewels, to which dominates the St. Wenceslas Crown.

All these virtues and symbols appear on the the reverse side of the silver coin - the St. Wenceslas Crown, which was commissioned by Charles IV., the flaming St. Wenceslaus eagle and in particular the remarkably and realistically processed Czech lion.

The art form of this mintage is the work of the late artist Jaroslav Bejvl.  He died at the age of 75, he did not complete his work. His work was therefore taken over by Asamat Baltaev, DiS. The obverse side of this investment coin of the Czech Mint belongs to the licensor for its minting - the Niue Island and its attributes in the form of portrait of queen Elizabeth II., the year of the issue of the coin 2017 and the nominal value of 80 DOLLARS (NZD).

This monumental mintage will enrich your investment portfolio by one kilogram of pure silver, and will add to it a fair amount of patriotism.
