Czech Lion 2019

Silver is often hidden in the shade of gold, but unjustly. Clever investors know its undisputed benefits and therefore it has a special place in their portfolios. The world banks and mints therefore issue silver, purely investment coins. The Czech Republic has not had such mintage until now, so there is the "Czech Lion" - the Czech Mint's own investment coin issued with a foreign license.

State symbols reflect the character of the state and the nature of its nation. Such are the Czech attributes. Even though many people will try to say the opposite, we can be proud of our history. The Czechs have always been a powerful nation that could stand firm. Therefore a noble flaming eagle became its symbol and later they gained a powerful two-tailed lion for their courage. They were pious and they honored their ancestors - especially St. Wenceslas, who became their patron, and Charles IV, called as the Father of Homeland. They are famous for their great ideas and extraordinary skills that are admired by the whole world - for example, in the form of crown jewels dominated by the St. Wenceslas crown.

All these symbols and virtues appear on the reverse side of the silver coin - the St. Wenceslas crown, which was made by Charles IV, the flaming St. Wenceslas eagle on the shield and especially the remarkably realistic Czech lion. The original form of the kilogram coin was made by the artist Jaroslav Bejvl. Unfortunately, he did not finish his work, so Asamat Baltaev, DiS continues processing his materpiece. The relief of a kilogram mintage was modified in 2019, however, the original idea remained the same. The obverse side of the investment coin of the Czech Mint bears the linden branch and attributes of the island of Niue, which provides the Czech Mint with the license to coin its own coins. These are the name and the portrait of the Emperor Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2019 and the nominal value of 80 DOLLARS (NZD).

The monumental mintage will enrich your investment portfolio with one kilogram of pure silver and will add a lot of patriotism to it.
