A great investment opportunity.

In 2012, the mintage of silver medals with motifs of Czech Republic’s statutory towns in Czech Mint continues. Two medals of the series are issued each year, and as the number of statutory towns has risen to 26, the medals represent a good collection opportunity – in addition to being valuable collector items. The complete set will multiply the value of separate pieces. A statutory town in the Czech Republic has wider powers (than a non-statutory town) and is headed by a Lord Mayor. The statutory towns include the Czech capital Prague, all regional towns and eleven other cities. Each of the medals is struck in two weights: 1,000 g and 500 g. The third medal in the Statutory Towns series is dedicated to Zlín
