Product description

In honor of Charles IV. born May 14, 1316, precisely 700 years ago, comes the Czech Mint with a jubilee mintage, that recalls the man, who transformed a neglected country into a respected superpower.

The majesty of the greatest Czech is reflected in one troy ounce of pure silver. The commemorative coin comes in a stylish mintage of 700 pieces.

The author is a top medalist Jaroslav Bejvl, whose work we are not afraid to compare to the works of Mikoláš Aleš. The reverse of the coin is dominated by the charismatic portrait of the Father of the Nation, which is accompanied by the seals of Charles IV. and Charles University and the depiction of several significant sights of Prague - the Prague Castle, the Old Town and the Charles Bridge.

With the jubilee years 1316-2016 relates an inscription in Latin DCC. DIES ANNIVERSARIUS NATIVITATIS CAROLI IV., thus the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV. The obverse side is dedicated to the overall view of the Charles Bridge, the necessary attributes of the issuer, the year of the issue 2016 and the nominal value of the coin 2 DOLLARS. Complete your collection by the exceptional coin, issued to mark the magnificent jubilee!
