Star Wars Classic: Stormtrooper™ 1/4 oz Pure Gold Coin
Wars can not be without soldiers, and the Star Wars can not be without stormtroopers. Another gold coin inspired by the adored film saga was dedicated to the iconic fighters.
Although the Emperor Palpatine is almost all-powerful, he can not exist without an army that would push his will across the galaxy. Organic soldiers proved to be more effective than droids in the Clone Wars, and the Emperor knew that. In his army, however, the cloned soldiers were gradually replaced by the draftees from all corners of the galaxy that formed fearful units. These stormtroopers became the backbone of the Empire. They were accompanied by the navy and created planetary crews. They were deployed not only in armed conflicts, but also as law enforcement officials in civil unrest areas that were not lacking in Palpatin's horror times. Their training and equipment varied according to the environment in which they were deployed, but they had one in common - a protective armor with a helmet that made the army seemingly an endless anonymous mass. It is ironic that white has become the color of soldiers pushing the will of the dark side of the force...
The reverse side of the coin presents a trio of stormtroopers armed with blasters on board of the Death Star. The coin publisher is the Pacific island of Niue, and its reverse side therefore bears its attributes - the portrait and the name of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2019 and the nominal value of 25 DOLLARS (NZD). The form of officially licensed mintage was made by the New Zealand Mint art group.
Each coin is stored in a special box that protects it and exposes it.
