Product description

Are you thinking of a tasteful and valuable gift for a newly married couple? This is exactly the silver wedding thaler of the Czech Mint that thanks to the engraved dedication becomes the only original in the world.

Wedding customs of many nations are associated with coins. You have probably heard that the bride should have something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue on her big day. This tradition is based on an old English rhythm (Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe.), however, it has the fifth part to forget - the silver coin the bride has to put in a shoe so her new family will be lucky, rich and prosperous. In addition, as well as the main attribute of today's wedding rings, the coins are round in order to symbolize infinity.

The new design of the obverse side of the wedding tolar for the year 2018 was prepared by the young medal maker Roman Shamilyan. He chose the clockwork symbolism, a mechanism that marks that a good marriage functions as a watch. Inside the toothed wheels there are pictograms of hearts and four leaf clover, which means signs for love and happiness as well as a house, a tree, and a pram, which refer to the saying "Build a house, plant a tree and father a son". The reverse side then contains a roll of paper to engrave the text as you wish. A medal that holds up to 4 lines of text of 15 characters including spaces, can include, for example, names of newlyweds and date of wedding or heartfelt dedication.

You can then paste your wedding details together with photos into the gift packaging.
