The obverse side of the 200-crown coin features a composition of characters from Karel Zeman’s films. A sorcerer from his “Krabat - The Sorcerer's Apprentice“, on the left John and Mary from his film „The Tale of John and Marie“ and on the right Sinbad the Sailor from his “Tales of One Thousand and One Nights“. Nominal value of the coin and the currency “200 Kč“ is placed behind the figures on the film strip with the name of state “ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA“ above. Letters “L“ and“N“, initials of the design author Lenka Nebeská, are placed at the lower rim of the 200-crown coin.
