Czech National Bank

The Czech National Bank, also known by the acronym CNB, is the central bank of the Czech Republic - a body that, among other things, supervises the financial market, determines the monetary policy of the state, manages money circulation and issues coins and banknotes.

The Czech Mint has been a reliable partner of the Czech National Bank since 1993. It mints all Czech circulation and commemorative coins for it.

Assay Office

Assay office is a state administration body whose task is, among other things, to verify the purity of precious metal products and to carry out inspections at manufacturers and traders.

The Czech Mint provides its commemorative medals with hallmarks which represent certificates of the composition and purity of the precious metals. On the basis of long-term serious cooperation, the Czech Mint is entitled to place hallmarks directly on the stamping dice used for the production of commemorative medals from gold, silver and platinum.

Czech Numismatic Society

The Czech Numismatic Society, also known by the acronym CNS, is a voluntary non-profit organization which, since 1919, has brought together collectors, scientists and educational and cultural institutions in the fields of numismatics (coin science), notaphilia (banknote science) and faleristics (science dealing with orders and decorations).

Many CNS members are among the long-term customers of the Czech Mint. The Czech Mint values their irreplaceable knowledge which often serves as inspiration in the preparation of the issuance plan.

SUPŠ and VOŠ Jablonec nad Nisou

The Secondary School of Applied Arts in Jablonec nad Nisou was founded in 1880 in response to the needs of the developing jewelery industry. Originally a craft school focused on teaching drawing, modeling and chiselling, it has gradually expanded the offer of its fields to include artistic glassmakers, engravers and decorators.

The Higher Vocational School was founded in 1995. The impulse for the establishment of the field entitled Minted medal and coin, which is the only one of its kind in Central Europe, was the opening of the Czech Mint, which needs enough educated medal makers for its activities.

Contract sellers

The Czech Mint owns three stone shops in Prague, Brno and Jablonec nad Nisou. It also cooperates with a network of partner companies located throughout the country in order to always be close to customers.

These official authorized sellers can offer you a complete range of products of the Czech Mint. They will be happy to provide you with all the information regarding its issuance plan and at the same time share their knowledge in the areas of collecting and investing.
