Gold coin Four Leaf Clover - Pinďa proof
Four Leaf Clover
The four-part collector's mini-series, which was issued on the occasion of the 50th birthday of the comic book Čtyřlístek translated as Four Leaf Clover, was launched by the issuance of the Myšpulín´s coin. The Czech Mint dedicated the second gold coin to Pinďa.
Pinďa is a hare that wears red trousers with one brace. Unlike other characters of Čtyřlístek, he is quiet, shy, and prefers to avoid pickles. He hears everything thanks to his long ears, so he misses nothing. Moreover, he is - like other hares - an excellent sprinter. But he is no coward! Even if adventures take Čtyřlístek into space, among vampires, or into the cruel Middle Ages, Pinďa always takes part in them and often overcomes his fear to save the situation. Although Bobík, who is not afraid of anything and no one, often teases him, you would hardly find better friends…
The commemorative coin relief was processed by Mária Filová, DiS. and it is based on the original comic book illustrations, On the reverse side you can find Pinďa doing sport. The composition of the reverse side is supplemented by Pinďa's signature. The obverse side then presents the necessary attributes of the island of Niue, which provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to mint its own commemorative coins. The attributes include the profile and the name of Queen Elizabeth II., the nominal value of 5 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of the issue 2019.
Do not forget that you can store the complete collection of four comic book coins in the cheerful collector's album that was part of Myšpulín's coin.
