Another gold mini coin of the Czech Mint from the Patrons series features St. George.

George was one of the best soldiers in the army of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. He became a knight and eventually the personal guardian of his ruler, but his true loyalty belonged to God. When Diocletian began his persecution of Christians, George refused to participate and left the army. He gave his fortune to the poor, became a relentless critic of the emperor, and a fearless defender of the oppressed. Then the dragon settled in Libya. He terrorized the locals, who at first appeased him with animal sacrifices, but these were no longer enough for the monster, so there was no choice but to throw him a human every year. The unlucky one was always determined by lot. But then the choice fell on the king's daughter. The unhappy father's pleas reached George, who rushed to help the princess. He fought the dragon in the saddle of his horse and pierced its throat with his spear. The grateful people then renounced paganism and accepted Christ. The raging Diocletian had George captured and cruelly tortured. Despite the agony, the knight refused to renounce his faith, so the emperor ordered his execution. Until the executioner's sword ended his life, George continued to pray for the conversion of the pagans. Thanks to his constancy and courage, he converted even the Empress herself to the true faith... To this day, St. George is a symbol of the struggle of good and evil. He is praised as the patron saint of soldiers, horsemen, scouts and peasants, as well as the protector of the sick.

George is often depicted as a knight in full armour. The medal maker David Kružliak has assigned this image to him . The Czech-English inscription on the reverse side says SVATÝ JIŘÍ – SAINT GEORGE. As the licence to issue commemorative coins of the Czech Mint is granted by the Pacific island of Niue, the obverse side bears its necessary attributes - the portrait of King Charles III, the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2025.
