Product description
The Czech Mint presents already the fourth commemorative medal from the collectibles series Nightingales in Gold. One ounce of pure gold belongs to the nine times Nightingale Hana Zagorová.
"Hanička Písnička" is a woman of many talents. Besides singing, she is also a talented songwriter and her author's origins go back to her school years, when she created a collection of poems. She graduated from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, majoring in acting and received many offers for contract in small theaters in Prague. She played for a few years, for example, in the play Kytice in the Semafor theatre, but her love of singing triumphed eventually. Her singing career includes a solo path as well as regular cooperation with the male counterparts - Michal Prokop, Petr Rezek, the duo Petr Kotvald - Stanislav Hložek and many more. She is also an experienced presenter.
Roman Shamilyan, a talented medalist, who is the author of the visual image of this commemorative medal, dedicated its obverse side to a faithful portrait of the singer and a lettering HANA ZAGOROVÁ. On the dynamic reverse is the singer dancing on a characteristic relief of a phonograph record surrounded by a notation of song Maluj zase obrázky /Paint pictures again/ by Pavel Žák. The reverse side farther provides a text summarizing the singer's unbroken winning career in the Music Contest Golden Nightingale 1977-1985.
Add to your collection another star of our pop music - one of only 100 hand-numbered copies can be stored in the original collector's box, which holds a total of seven leading singers. You can find it in the menu of the Czech Mint.
