High quality circulation coins and a unique silver medal with a banknote motif.

The set of 2013 circulation coins in proof quality contains polished coins at face values of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 Czech crowns struck in this particular year. Circulation coin sets are a popular and prestigious collector item, in particular for their high quality finish. In this set, the beauty of Czech circulation coins in proof quality stands out in a decent blue suede case with gold letters. The set also contains a certificate with watermark produced in Státní tiskárna cenin (the State Printing House). A commemorative medal with a motif of the Czech 1000-crown banknote is added as a bonus to sets of coins in proof quality. The obverse side of the medal features the portrait of František Palacký, number 1,000, and his name on the left side of the medal.
The reverse side depicts a large female eagle – a symbol of Moravia and Silesia. A silhouette of the Kroměříž castle shows through the eagle’s body and wings. Palacký attended the constituent assembly of the Habsburg monarchy held in the castle in 1848.
The design of the medal is the work of academic painter Oldřich Kulhánek.
