Set of circulation coins Czech Republic 2020
The Czech Mint, in cooperation with the Czech National Bank, regularly issues a set of czech circulation coins, which are supplemented with a commemorative token and stored in an elegant packaging with the motif of the Czech Republic. The year 2020 is no exception.
You use metal money almost every day, but have you ever wondered how their relief looks like? The one-crown coin bears the St. Wenceslas crown. The double-crown bears a knob, which is a decorative jewel from the times of the Great Moravian Empire. Coins with higher nominal values belong to the architecture of the Czech Republic. The five-crown coin commemorates the legendary Charles Bridge over the Vltava River. The ten-crown coin belongs to Petrov in Brno, the famous panorama of the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul. The twenty-crown coin was dedicated to the monument on Wenceslas Square in Prague with the majestic statue of St. Wenceslas. Fifty-crown coin was proclaimed the most beautiful circulating coin in the world in 1993 and it bears unique buildings characteristic of our capital. These are the Charles Bridge, the National Theater, the Church of St. Nicholas and the Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral.
In the set you will find six circulating coins which have been produced in a more gentle way than the money in circulation. It also bears the year of the issue 2020. Ludmila Kracíková, DiS. became the author of the accompanying commemorative token. The medal was dedicated to the relief of heraldic symbols and selected architectural monuments of the Czech Republic and Prague.
The packaging was issued in the form of a czech-english pop-up book with a cover and commemorates a number of unique Czech landmarks that are unprecedented around the world.
