Product description

The silver coins impress not only the numismatics and collectors, but also the investors. Therefore world banks and major mints prepare purely investment mintages. The Czech investment coins have not yet been issued, and thus the Czech Mint introduces its own investment coins based on a foreign license called "Czech Lion".

Many historical symbols and artifacts impersonate the Czech statehood. They include the ensemble of Czech Crown Jewels, dominated by the magnificently decorated St. Wenceslas crown although just 100 years have passed since we ceased to be a monarchy. The majestic symbol of the sovereignty of the state was made by Father of the Fatherland Charles IV, on the occasion of his coronation by the Czech king. The name of the crown and its form referred to the Přemyslid traditions, and it was connected with Czech state idea. It was not the personal property of the king, but belonged to the entire country through its heavenly patron St. Wenceslas and embodied the unity of all lands of the Czech crown. It has not lost faith in history thanks to these noble ideas, unlike a number of other European crowns.

It appeared alongside the flaming eagle on the shield on the reverse side of the silver mintage. Both St. Wenceslas attributes are guarded by a non-traditional realistic two-tailed Czech lion. The design of the coin was created by the medal maker Jaroslav Bejvl. Even before he finished his work, he died at the age of 75, and Asamat Baltaev, DiS continued. The obverse side belongs to the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2018 and the nominal value of 25 DOLLARS (NZD), which are the attributes of Niue island, which provides the Czech Mint a foreign license for issuing coins.

Silver coins have a thousand-year tradition in our country. Enrich your portfolio with ten troy ounces.

Why is the Czech Lion coin exceptional?
  • It is the first coin to meet the global recognized investment standards "bullion coin" minted in the Czech Republic
  • The favorable price of the coin does not take into account collectible, artistic or historical value – however, it does not mean that the coin does not have it
  • The price of the coin depends primarily on the spot price of gold and is exempt from VAT
  • The coin is easily tradeable, among other things thanks to redemption
  • Its weight is equal to tenfold the amount of the troy ounce
  • Easily recognizable motif of the coin has a strong link to the Czech Republic
