Product description
A series of silver medals The Nightingales in Gold of the Czech Mint gradually presents the most successful performers of the Czechoslovak popular music scene. On the occasion of her birthday, a beautiful commemorative mintage is released and it is dedicated to Hana Zagorová.
Throughout her career, Hanka recorded over 800 songs. In addition to pop hits her repertoire includes the chanson-tuned songs, that thanks to tasteful and emotional filing attracted mainstream experts. One of these songs is called Maluj zase obrázky /Paint pictures again/. Its music was composed by Pavel Žak, who also wrote the words - true, sensitive, intimate, from life - and it made it a hit in 1980.
The fourth issue of collectibles series is created by a talented medal maker Roman Shamilyan. The obverse side of the medal bears a bust of the singer, accompanied by the text HANA ZAGOROVÁ. The reverse side belongs to an abstract scene, where the singer is dancing on a gramophone record between musical notes of the song Maluj zase obrázky /Paint pictures again/. The scene then complements an inscription summarizing her winning music career ZLATÁ SLAVICE 1977–1985.
The medal can be stored alongside other personalities of our Music Hall of Fame in a collector's box, which can also be purchased from the Czech mint.
