A lovely gift for babies and their mothers

In addition to gold baby and christening ducats Czech Mint now offers gold pendants in the shape of a ducat. Its purpose is the same – to be given to babies in cradles as a lovely and precious gift. The mint regularly changes motifs on christening ducats and pendants. The current version features on the obverse side a baby lying on his/her belly on a diaper-changing table, with a baby rattle in his/her right hand. The legend on the pendant reads “Dukát k narození dítěte“ (Baby and Christening Ducat). The reverse side features a central field left empty for the engraving of an individual dedication according to the wish of the buyer. A ribbon forming the shape of a heart delimits the field.

The framed pendant is attached to a 45cm long gold chain of the “Anker“ type made of fine gold (Au 585) and weighing 1.25 g.
