Index – A stock market index is used to monitor the price development of a certain market or group of assets. The index can track all stocks on a particular exchange (Nasdaq Composite) or only selected stocks (S&P 500).

Commodities – A special kind of goods that are sold at a uniform price without any difference in quality. Investment commodities are divided into four groups (metals, energy, agricultural products, meat and livestock).

Cryptocurrencies – Digital currencies that exist only in virtual space and serve investment purposes, but also practical use (payment). Bear market – The term describes a period when the price of a group of assets has been falling for a long time, forming a negative trend. The beginning of a bear market is usually considered the moment when the monitored asset depreciates at least a fifth of its value from its previously established maximum.

Real Estate - Real estate, which usually means houses, apartments, buildings and land. The income from this investment can come from renting or selling.

Trading – Trading involves targeted trading on the stock exchange. A person who trades on a regular basis is called a trader. His investment activities distinguish him from a passive investor.

Volatility - A term that describes the rate of price fluctuations of a particular asset. Shares or cryptocurrencies are traditionally considered more volatile, while precious metals are less volatile. As volatility increases, risk increases, but so does the possibility of higher appreciation.
