"Glass is history, present, and future. It is a material that inspires me and leaves me with a feeling of inexhaustible perfection. Glass is my muse."

Achilleas Sdoukos is a renowned artist of Slovak-Greek origin who focuses on creating luxury interior elements made of molten glass. He is known for his use of precious metals, so it is fitting that the decorative glass sculptures inspired by the Czech Lion bullion coin come from his studio.

"Where the lion is praised as an example of noble courage, it can be disparaged for its ferocity. But it is precisely this ferocity that makes the lion a lion, maintaining its fighting spirit even in retreat and symbolizing invincibility and respect," says the glass-making wizard, who immortalized the lion's face in glass.

"I love the process of creating new works. It takes time, patience, and a dose of courage. Before melting the glass, I already have an idea of what the piece will look like, but part of the process is influenced by chance," reveals the author. Each of his sculptures is a handmade original, signed by hand and stamped with a seal of authenticity. The artpiece is sure to stand out in any interior – it measures approximately 50 centimeters in diameter.
