Fík´s unique voice and the voices of other heroes are narrated by Josef Dvořák. Altogether, two series were filmed, Maxipes Fík in 1975 and Maxipes Fík`s Wild Dreams three years later. Each of them includes 13 funny parts, which tell the stories about the girl Ája and her oversized canine friend.
Ája`s Daddy brought home a puppy and named it Rek. However, the name was difficult for Ája to pronounce an that is why they changed his name to Fík. The doggie grew like crazy, soon the box and then the doghouse were too small for him. He stopped growing at the moment, when he drank a whole barrel of beer. And because he learnt to speak, funny stories began to happen.
