This commemorative medal of the Czech Mint minted from pure gold commemorates Július Satinský, a legend of Slovak culture.

They broke all the rules of realistic theatre on stage. They analyzed usual life situations to the point of absurdity on television screens. Scenes and sketches were interspersed with songs and improvised entries. "I guess we found each other happily. One a country bumpkin who plays a fool - that's me - and one solid lord," Július Satinský, who formed an inseparable humorous duo with Milan Lasica for more than forty years, was heard to say. However, the popular artist with a perpetual smile on his face, adorned with a magnificent moustache, also enjoyed success in his solo career - as a glossator, author of literature for adults and children, playwright, prose writer, feyetonist and film actor. Unfortunately, his life was prematurely ended by cancer. "I decided to take my cell phone to my coffin. The caller will reach the answering machine, where I will still be speaking: You have reached 7700895. You do not have to leave a message. There is no one to take it. I am dead at the moment," he joked one last time…

Slovak medal maker Mgr. Art. Miroslav Hric, Art.D., dedicated the obverse side of the medal to a faithful portrait of the charismatic Július Satinský. Silhouettes of the heads of Julius Satinský and Milan Lasica connected by a common hat can be found on both the obverse and reverse side of the medal. The medal bears the name JÚLIUS SATINSKÝ, the decorative initials of the L&S actors and the quote by Milan Lasica "CESTU SME MALI SPOLOČNÚ, ALE NOHY MA BOLIA VLASTNÉ" (translated as "WE SHARED THE ROAD, BUT MY OWN FEET HURT").
