Product description

Each annual set of circulating coins contains all current Czech coins which have never been circulated and were minted in the year the set was issued.

Coin collectors like it because the set offers a unique way to add to their collection a complete set of circulating coins with the same minting year. Regular coins entering circulation are minted as needed by the government so all nominal values hardly ever appear in the same year.

But these sets are not only attractive to coin experts. Each set is dedicated to a particular Czech region, and the blister wrap on the coins showcases photographs of important places integrally linked to the history, culture and natural wonders of our country. Of course, there is also information about the landmarks depicted. Thanks to the appealing graphic design, the sets are ideal as a beautiful and novel gift for those who admire the charm of our country.

In addition to coins with nominal values of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 CZK each set comes with its own thematic token dedicated to a given region.

Who among us has never saved at least one coin as a memento of a vacation? Since the Czech Republic also attracts countless foreign admirerers, we have also made the blister wraps bilingual, in Czech and English. The sets can then serve as wonderful gifts for visitors to the region or foreign business partners.

The Regions of the Czech Republic edition of annual sets from the Czech Mint has presented seven regions to date, which are now available in a collector’s box at a discounted price:

• 2009: South Bohemian Region (token featuring České Budějovice and Český Krumlov)
• 2010: Zlín Region (token featuring Zlín and Kroměříž)
• 2011: Pilsen Region (token featuring Pilsen and Domažlice)
• 2012: Moravian-Silesian Region (token featuring Ostrava and Opava)
• 2013: Liberec Region (token featuring Liberec, Jablonec and the Štěpánka Lookout Tower)
• 2014: South Moravian Region (token featuring Brno and grapevines)
• 2015: Hradec Králové region (token featuring Hradec Králové and Grandma’s Valley)

In coming years, sets will be issued for the remaining seven regions. Collect them with us and watch your collection grow!
