Product description
"Bullion coins" are made of precious metal and serve primarily as a means of investment and value preservation. Such are the Czech Mint's own investment coins called the "Czech Lions" based on a foreign license. They are the first coins of their kind minted in the Czech Republic, and there is also a variant made of one troy ounce of pure silver.
Silver is an undervalued means of investment, while a number of conservative investors who prefer it to gold are growing. Besides the medium to long-term potential of the evaluation, it also offers the unique advantages of industrial metal. The keenly priced silver investment coins (unlike commemorative coins) do not primarily include collectible, artistic or historical value. Their "premium", which means the difference between the price of precious metal on the exchange and the selling price of the coin corresponds to this fact.
The motive of the reverse side of the investment coin was inspired by traditional Czech symbols, which are the two-tailed lion, the St. Wenceslas crown and the flaming St. Wenceslas Eagle. This helps to identify the “Czech Lions“ on domestic and world markets. The obverse side of the coin bears the linden branch and attributes of the Niue Island that provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to coin its own coins. The attributes are the profile and the name of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2018 and the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD). Patriotic art design of the coin was created by leading medal maker Jaroslav Bejvl. However, even before he finished his work, he left us forever at the age of 75. Thus the young talent Asamat Baltaev, DiS, continued.
One troy ounce of silver is one of the world's most popular investment choices.
