Silver coin Crystal Coin -Hello Baby 2026 proof

The commemorative coin, designed by medal maker Petra Brodská, DiS., features a combination of embossed relief, Czech crystal, and traditional symbolism. On the reverse side, you will find a whole range of toys, with the teddy bear holding a crystal star attracting the most attention. The Czech-English inscription says VÍTEJ NA SVĚTĚ – HELLO BABY. The obverse side commemorates the legend that children are brought by storks. Since the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the license of a foreign issuer, the island of Niue, the obverse side also bears its necessary attributes – the state emblem, the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2026.

This traditional yet original baby gift is the result of a collaboration between two iconic crafts from Jablonec nad Nisou – the minting art of the Czech Mint and the glassmaking art of Preciosa.
