Product description
Křemílek and Vochomůrka were firstly introduced in the miniseries of the Czech Mint "Fairy Tales of Moss and Fern". The third and last silver coin was dedicated to their house which is a stork cottage.
Every day of Křemílek and Vochomůrka begins quite commonly when they go to pick-up blueberries, bake pie or sew trousers, however it usually turns into an unforgettable adventure when they look for a lost treasure or shot from a cannon. They meet a variety of fairy-tale characters and various animals, such as the Spring fairy, the Fireman, the Krapítek Waterman, the Otylka Wasp, the Cuperka Polecat, the Prskavec Beetle and many others. Some forest occupants are trying to hurt them. For example, the three-headed dragon or Emilka weasel, who occupied their stork cottage. However, with others they help each other and finally they overcome every difficulty with a smile.
The author of the television bedtime story miniseries is Irena Hradecká, DiS., who dedicated the reverse side of the final coin not only to the stork cottage, but also to the two elves who are looking for another adventure. The composition is complemented by a butterfly that combines all three coins. On the obverse side there are the attributes of the island of Niue, which means the name and the profile of the emperor Elizabeth II., the nominal value of 1 DOLLAR (NZD) and the year of the issue 2018 whose foreign license allows the Czech Mint to sell its own commemorative coins.
The trio of coins that were created on the occasion of the 50th birthday of Křemílek and Vochomůrka can be stored in a merry collector´s album, which was part of every Křemílek's coin.
