The third silver coin from the Czech Mint's four-part collector's miniseries The Three Musketeers features the mysterious Aramis and the powerful Duke of Buckingham.

Aramis is a mysterious man who is not easy to understand. He is thoughtful and pious, but also ambitious and eternally dissatisfied. He wants to become a priest, but once his dream comes true, he longs to return to military service. He is devoted above all to his friends and his king, but he is no stranger to the lust for power. His talent for scheming is matched only by his swordsmanship. Moreover, Aramis is very handsome and popular among women. His weakness for women is shared by the English Duke of Buckingham, whose love for the French Queen, which borders on obsession, could cause an international scandal. A powerful and charismatic nobleman, he is in many ways similar to Cardinal Richelieu - also ostensibly serving a weak king, but in reality the true ruler of his country. He does not hesitate to abuse his position and is willing to wage war for personal gain.

Medal maker Matěj Funk, DiS., dedicated the reverse side of the coin to a distinctive depiction of a musketeer and a nobleman surrounded by the English inscription ARAMIS AND DUKE OF BUCKINGHAM. An additional motif is the religious books, which symbolize Aramis' desire for priestly robes. The obverse side then presents musketeer's cords and the French motto UN POUR TOUS - TOUS POUR UN (one for all, all for one). As the licence to issue commemorative coins of the Czech Mint is granted by the Pacific island of Niue, the obverse side bears its necessary attributes - the national emblem, the nominal value of 1 DOLLAR (NZD) and the year of issue 2024.
