A nice souvenir or an unusual gift.

he town of Liberec is the metropolis of the Bohemian north, natural administrative, educational, cultural and economic centre of the Liberec region. It surprises its visitors with its unusual location; it is situated in a picturesque basin-shaped valley between Jizerské mountains and the dominant Ještěd ridge which lend the town its mountain character. The real symbol of Liberec is the Ještěd mountain (1012 m) with a futuristic hotel with a 100-metre-high television tower on top; it is therefore often nicknamed “the town below Ještěd“. Taking its rise in the foothills of the Jizerské mountains and flowing through the Liberec valley is the Nisa River which later forms the boundary line between the Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Polish Republic.
The obverse side features well known landmarks of the Liberec region – the Bezděz castle and ruins of the Trosky stronghold. The motif is complemented with the name of the token in circumscription.
The emblem of the Liberec region is placed on the reverse side with text in circumscription in the lower part.
