Collector's box for 4 blisterpacks - On Wheels
The engineering industry is one of the most important industries in the Czech Republic. The Czech lands have been a technical power since the Industrial Revolution, and various advanced machines have been produced in our plants. They were not only functional but also beautiful and have been admired around the world.
The cycle of silver coins of the Czech Mint entitled On Wheels introduces the most interesting motorized means of transport produced by domestic companies. Lovers of vintage cars, motorcycles and trains will be pleased:
- Škoda Felicia was introduced in 1959 and it celebrates its 60th birthday in 2019. We meet with the sports convertible, which acted as a revelation on the roads and its owners are rightly proud of it.
- NW Truck - The new NW car was the first truck in Central Europe and one of the first in the world. The prototype, which was built in Kopřivnice's road, and the predecessor of today's Tatra, was presented to the public in 1889, 130 years ago.
- Jawa 500 OHV - The first mass-produced Jawa motorcycle, known as Rumpal, began to be produced in 1929, 90 years ago. A mere thousand pieces have been produced in the course of five years, so today this luxury machine is a collector's rarity.
Train set Slovenská strela - only two pieces of futuristic car M 290.0 were made for the state railways in Tatra Kopřivnice. Regular operation of a machine representing the technical progress of pre-war Czechoslovakia lasted only four years and ended in 1939, 80 years ago.
Each coin is packed in an attractive packaging with photographs. The four-piece set can be stored in this practical collector's box.
