Product description
The North Bohemian company Detoa was founded in 1908. It produced wooden beads, buttons and other small turned pieces in the very beginning and became the most important manufacturer in this field in Europe soon. However, it gained real fame after 1927, when its offer expanded to include wooden toys. These are intended primarily for small children and they are suitable to support the development of their motor skills.
Such is the toy in the form of a two-tailed Czech lion which belongs to the traditional category of so-called "squeezing figures". The individual wooden pieces from which the lion is assembled are connected by a line and a button is hidden in the base of the toy. The figure moves depending on where and how hard you press the button, and you can play with it like with a simple puppet.
Detoa, which is currently the largest and oldest Czech manufacturer of wooden toys, works with quality wood, which is logged in mountains in Central Europe. Only certified and ecological paints and varnishes that do not harm the environment are used for painting.
The wooden Czech lion meets EU requirements for toy safety and it is not intended for children under 3 years old.
