Product description
The gift variant of the investment coin is stored in a special numbered packaging on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia.
"Czech Lions" are purely investment gold coins that are coined under a foreign license in the Czech Mint. Besides their investment potential, they also engaged their attractive patriotic relief. Thus a special variant designed especially for the collectors was created on the occasion of the round jubilee of the establishment of the common state of the Czechs and Slovaks.
The coin was designed by world-famous designer Jaroslav Bejvl. His glass art decorates, for example, the Royal Palace in Saudi Arabia. He also used his extraordinary talent in the medal craft. During thirty years he has created over 400 plaster designs many of which were realized by the Czech Mint, and you may remember his twenty-haler circulating coin. However, he died at the age of 75 even before he was able to finish his masterpiece dominated by two-tailed beast. Therefore young talent Asamat Baltaev, DiS. continued. Despite his low age (born in 1991), he is one of the superstars of the Czech medal scene. He regularly wins the Czech National Bank's art competitions and his glory has long overtaken the borders of our country. Jaroslav Bejvl's drawing has been embossed and their common work is one of the best that the Czech Mint has collected in 25 years.
The reverse side of the coin bears Czech two-tailed lion guarding the St. Wenceslas crown together with the flaming St. Wenceslas eagle on the shield in an untraditionally realistic conception. The obverse side belongs to the attributes of the island of Niue, which provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license to coin the investment coins. These are the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2018 and the nominal value of 50 DOLLARS (NZD). The composition of the obverse side is then closed by a branch of lime, together with the Czech national tree.
This gold coin is stored in a special numbered packaging, thus presenting an original gift and addition to the numismatic collection.
