Czech Lion 2019
Each coin world power has its investment coins. The Czech Republic had not had its own investment mintages. Therefore the Czech Mint issued the "Czech Lions" - investment coins issued with a foreign license. This luxurious set includes a triple of silver mintages weighing one kilogram, ten troy ounces and two troy ounces.
An untraditionally realistic two-tailed Czech lion that guards other czech national symbols which are the St. Wenceslas crown and the St. Wenceslas Eagle on the shield was created by the leading medal maker Jaroslav Bejvl. However, he died at the age of 75 in 2016 even before he finished his masterpiece, so the young talented medal maker Asamat Baltaev, DiS, continues processing the coin. The "Czech Lions" were issued in 2017. Since they are the classic investment issue, they come back with fresh schedule of issuance every year. Coins are acclaimed not only at home but also abroad. With great success they ranked alongside the world famous counterparts. Satisfied investors from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada and the United States of America have added them to their portfolios.
Investment coins weighing more than one troy ounce were modified in 2019. The patriotic composition on the reverse side was modified and supplemented with a linden branch. The obverse side of each coin bears the name and the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of the issue 2019 and nominal values of 5, 25 and 80 DOLLARS (NZD), which are the necessary attributes of the island of Niue that provides the Czech Mint with a foreign license for issuing its own coins.
Schedule of issuance of these three silver coins counts only 30 pieces. They are stored in a luxurious wooden etui.
