Czech Lion 2022
The set, whose total weight is two troy ounces of pure gold, contains two bullion coins of the Czech Mint - the Czech Lion and the Eagle with the year 2022.
The Czech Mint has extensive experience in the production of bullion coins. The silver and gold "Czech Lion" coins, which have been minted in Jablonec nad Nisou since 2017, are popular among investors not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also in Hungary, Germany, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada and the United States. The world's largest online distributor of precious metals has also requested them for its offer. Their low mintage is one of the reasons why the Czech Mint's investment coins have so quickly taken place alongside their famous global counterparts. While bullion coins of foreign mints are minted in the millions, the issue limit of coins minted in the Czech Republic is calculated in hundreds or thousands. This fact increases the appreciation potential of the investment and adds a collector's dimension. Thanks to the artistic processing, the coins will also serve perfectly as an original and valuable gift - for graduation, for a wedding, for the birth of a child or just for fun... In 2020, the Czech Mint opened a store in Bratislava and began to mint bullion coins entitled "Orol“ - "Eagle". Parameters and advantages of these coins copy the "Czech Lions", but differ in the motif, which is mainly intended for Slovaks.
Czech Lion: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the Czech heraldic beast in an unusual realistic rendering with the St. Wenceslas Crown on its head. The obverse side presents the eagle, which is a synthesis of the St. Wenceslas, Moravian and Silesian birds of prey. The author of the relief is medal maker Asamat Baltaev, DiS.
Eagle: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the golden eagle, which is the master of the Tatra Mountains, with the magnificent mountain peak Kriváň rising behind it. The obverse side is then decorated with ornaments of the Čičmanský pattern, which is a unique addition to Slovak folk architecture. The relief is the work of the medal maker MgA. Martin Dašek.
As the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the licence of a foreign issuer, which is the island of Niue, their obverse sides still bear its necessary attributes - the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 50 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2022.
The set is stored in a luxurious wooden case. In our offer you can also find other variants of bullion coins made of silver and gold. This allows you to easily regulate how much of your funds you deposit in precious metals.
