The Czech Mint issues its own series of commemorative coins (previously known as SMART COINS) in foreign licenses. They are a full-value currency with a nominal value in the currency of the given country. The high artistic and collectible value adds a dimension of investment in art to silver, which compensates for fluctuations in the price of the precious metal and the burden of value-added taxes. These silver bullion coins are issued in strictly limited editions and often surpass the commemorative coins of other mints around the world in their superior workmanship.
