A pair of silver earrings bears the motif of the Tree of Life.

Trees provide us with the oxygen that we breathe, the fruit that strengthens us, the wood that warms us, and last but not least, they please the eye and soul. Each of us would like to have deep roots, a strong trunk and a rich crown like a healthy tree. It is no wonder that trees belong to the most revered symbols in the world and that important trees can be found in most of the world's cultures. For example, the Bible presents a tree of knowledge - an apple tree, which is a symbol of immaculate humanity and whose forbidden fruit was tasted by Eve. On the contrary, Chinese mythology presents a peach tree - its roots are guarded by a dragon, the crown is protected by a phoenix, and the only fruit that occurs every three thousand years ensures immortality. In the Nordic sagas we find Yggdrasil - an ash tree that permeates all planes of existence and represents the universe. Whether their meaning is religious, philosophical or folklore, all these trees represent the ancient concept of the "Tree of Life", which symbolizes the unity and interconnection of all creatures.

The earrings were designed by Ludmila Kracíková, DiS. She was inspired by traditional depiction of the Tree of Life in a circular composition while the intertwining branches have a heart shape.

The earrings are stored in a gift box and provided with a certificate of authenticity which proves the purity of the silver. Do you suffer from allergy to silver? Does not matter! The earrings are plated with rhodium which is hypoallergenic. Rhodium also prevents the oxidation of silver and blackening of your jewellery.
