The silver coins in the Greatest Treasures series feature a gold inlay. The gold blank used, which underwent a long and demanding development process, is unique in its specifications. It weighs a mere 1/200 of a troy ounce – that is, 0.156 grams – yet boasts a remarkable diameter of 16 millimetres. No other mint produces a bimetallic coin with an inlay of these specifications.
