The world’s first coins in the form we know today were created in the 7th century BCE. At first glance, it seems that not much has changed since then, but the opposite is true – coinage is constantly evolving. In the 21st century, at the Czech Mint, we are developing innovative technologies, new craftsmanship techniques, and attractive artistic solutions. We then release the most interesting projects under the label of R&D, or research and development.
